The Mesick PTO would like to congratulate the winners of the Box top contest and bunny sales for the 2018-2019 school year. Sawyer Z. is the Box top king with 401 box tops. Reed S. is the #1 Bunny seller with 54 units sold. Both students received gift cards. Congratulations boys! We look forward to next year's contest.
3rd graders worked on team building skills today! They used clues to solve puzzles that revealed lock combinations. Then they opened the boxes to solve the mystery!

A couple athletic announcements before break: We would like to congratulate Rachael Wienclaw (2nd team) and Jakob Abraham (Honorable Mention) on being selected to the West Michigan D League All Conference Basketball Teams! Secondly, JV baseball is scheduled to play on April 4th and 5th at home the week we are back from break and Varsity baseball will be at Ludington on April 5th. Lastly, JH Track will begin Wednesday April 3rd. Practice will be 3:15 to 4:45. Any JH boys or girls in grades 7 or 8 may participate and must have a physical on file before starting practice. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Duby in the Athletic Office. Have a great break!
3rd graders have been learning about area and perimeter in math. Today they had fun making their names on grid paper and figuring out the area in square units.
Please remember that we need to have 75% of our student body in attendance to count the school day. We were really close of not reaching 75% attendance last year the day before spring break. Please make sure students are in attendance so we do not have to make up another day!

The Robotics Team formed an alliance with Marion & North Muskegon and won their 1st match 29 - 21. The Bulldogs scored 6 points!
1st graders are working on their keyboarding skills. We love the free online program called BBC typing, it is interactive and very kid friendly.
The High School robotics team is competing in their rookie year district competition in Muskegon today!
