Full Time Secondary Math Teacher 

Preferred Qualifications:

●     Ability to bring math concepts to life with real world examples

●     Proficiency with Michigan math standards

●     Competency in the administration and interpretation of academic assessments

●     Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students

●     Strong understanding of the use of technology as a tool for student engagement

●     Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (oral and written)

●     Support and participate in all district and building level school improvement initiatives and plans.

SCHOOL SAFETY OFFICER

DESCRIPTION OF BASIC FUNCTIONS, REPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

 Bachelor or Associate degree in a law enforcement related field is preferred.  Under the direction of the superintendent, and in cooperation with the elementary and JR/SR high school principals, the school safety officer coordinates and oversees all aspects of security for the school district.  This includes, but is not limited to, day to day activities related to the security of our students, staff, and buildings, as well as the design and implementation of various security drills and procedures.  The school safety officer will also assist with the supervision of students in the cafeteria, hallways, and in general throughout the school day.

 This is a full-time position.  This is not a union position.
