The following Mesick Student-Athletes received this honor: Seniors - McKensey Kendall, Joseph Stewart, Tyler Ford, Elizabeth Hamilton, Tanner Ford, Colin Cook, and Tenzin McGregor. Juniors - Kaylee O'Neill, Gabe Parrish, Mitchell Rogers, Maggie Shermak, Ivy Kendziorski, Julie Musial, Trinity Harris, and Cole Spencer. Since we are approaching the official start to summer season this weekend, tonight's Quizziz will be Summer Trivia! This will be our last Quizziz for the week. WE will not have a Quizziz on Friday so that Senior Awards can be attended. Good luck everyone!

Hi Mesick families!
Day 2 on self-esteem.
Kids who feel good about themselves have the confidence to try new things. They are more likely to try their best. They feel proud of what they can do! Self-esteem helps kids cope with mistakes and try again if they fail at first. This can help them do better in school, at home, and with friends and family.
Here is a fun video for younger kids, all about what makes them special!

Here is an encouragement jar activity for older kids (or for the whole family). There is such amazing power in beautiful words!

Have a great day!

Hi Mesick families!
This weeks topic is self-esteem. What is self esteem, and why is it important?
It’s used to describe a person’s overall sense of self-worth or personal value. It’s very important , because kids who feel good about themselves feel liked and accepted, confident, proud of what they do, and they believe in themselves.
Kids with low self-esteem are critical of themselves, they focus on failures instead of successes, and lack confidence and a willingness to try new things at times.
Self-esteem starts as early as babyhood and is important to grow from there! Early on, it can be showing positive attention, care, and acceptance. This week, I will share some activities to help build older student’s self-esteem.
Here’s an activity that celebrates your child's traits and abilities through a self portrait activity!
