The Mesick High School Band is proud to announce that they have been able to raise all of the necessary funding for our 2020 Florida Trip! We would like to thank everyone in our community who helped the band raise the money needed for this Once-In-A-Lifetime opportunity for our students! Thank you for your support! Mesick Athletics started the week of strong with big wins from the JH Girls Basketball teams on Monday. The 7th grade team won in double overtime while the 8th graders won 26-10. The Varsity Girls team also got a big win last night in Bear Lake by a score of 37-23. Tonight, the boys JV/V Varsity teams will be hosting the Buckley Bears at 6 pm! Tomorrow the JV/V Girls will travel to MCC for a 6 pm start and the JH girls play at Buckley at 4:30 pm. The week will conclude with a boys JV/V home game vs Bear Lake at 6 pm. During half time of the JV game on Friday, our elementary boys in 3rd/4th grade will be playing at half time, while the 5th grade boys will play at half time of the varsity game. We hope to see everyone out supporting our Mesick Student-Athletes this week!

It was a great day at Crooked Tree Arts Center annual Youth Arts Show yesterday, February 2. Mesick Jr/Sr High was given 4 awards! 1, $100 cash award to Tiffany Macy, 2 $500 scholarships to Mckensey Kendall and Kaylea Rogers and 1 honorary award to Noah Kendall from Kendall College of Art and Design! Congratulations to all of our high school band students who participated in the MSBOA District 1 Solo and Ensemble festival. We had a GREAT showing again this year - with all of the events medalling! We had 8 First Division ratings (all now eligible for State's) and 1 Second Division ratings! Great Job Band!

Annual K-12 Crooked Tree Arts Center Exhibit showcasing Mesick student artwork along with 42 other schools will be open to the public February 2 - March 14 (see website for gallery hours: crookedtree.org). An opening reception for awards will be held February 2 from 1-3pm. Judges will be announcing honorable mention for Middle School and cash prizes for High School.
