Hello Bulldogs, It has been a great 1st day of school! It is so nice to see all the students back in the building. A reminder to elementary parents picking up their child at the end of the day. The new pickup location is on the south west side of the building off Walter St. Parents may wait in their vehicles or on the sidewalk. Staff will be walking students by grade level to be picked up. Please join me in welcoming our new AdviseMI College Adviser! We are excited to have him on board to help students with college & career planning, scholarship applications, & financial aid applications. Below is a little information he shared to introduce himself. Welcome Mr. Frieswyk! My name is Nate Frieswyk. I will be this year's college adviser at Mesick High School. I graduated from Albion College with degrees in Mathematics and Economics. My goal as a college adviser is to set every student on the best path towards fulfilling their goals for after high school. I look forward to working with every student and parent by sharing my knowledge, experiences, and training.

Kitchen Staff Job Posting

Hello Bulldogs! 6th - 12th grade schedules were sent out last week and hopefully have shown up in your mailbox. If you have a schedule change request or questions, please email Mrs. Rasmussen. Requests will be answered in the order they are received. We have quite a few requests already and I would like to thank you in advance for your patience as we work to get through all of them. I would also like to remind you that the deadline to chose online learning options is tomorrow, August 20th. Please contact Mr. Morey for more information.

Mesick Adolescent Wellness Center is located inside the Mesick JR/SR High School Library. The nurses hours are Tuesday's and Thursday's from 8 AM-4 PM and the counselors hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM. The consent form is attached.

Are you wondering what your 6-8 grade students will need for school supplies this year? Please see the attached document when preparing to send your JR High student back to school.

The Mesick High School Band will continue to have Band Camp as planned, August 17-August 20 - but now with a modified schedule. Band students are parents should check the Mesick Bulldog Band Facebook Page and the Remind Band Text that was sent out yesterday for specific details. Today the MHSAA announced that the 2020 Fall football season will be postponed until the Spring of 2021.  We have had numerous coaches and players working incredibly hard for the last two months preparing for the season.  Their commitment to success, despite the obstacles they were facing, is what high school sports is all about!  In regards to Junior High Football, all activities have been postponed until the Spring of 2021. Reminder the last day for Summer Meal pick up is on Friday, August 21st from 10:30-11:30 behind the elementary school.

Hello Everyone, You will see a quick one-pager for Phases 4 and 5. Currently Mesick is in Phase 5 but will continue to follow many of the Phase 4 protocols.
