Attention Jr High families: There will be a Jr High Homecoming dance this Friday (September 27th) immediately after school until 4:45. Students should be picked up by 4:45 at the commons doors. The cost is $3 to get in, light snacks and water will be provided. Since this is a casual dance immediately after school, we ask that students do not bring an outfit to change into. They can simply wear what they wore to school that day. Friday is Black & Orange day, so students are encouraged to wear school colors and Mesick gear! Please contact Ms. Roda with any questions.

Please welcome Mr. Houk. He will be teaching 3rd grade at Mesick Elementary! Hello all, my name is Nate Houk. I am from Cadillac and still live here. The Ellens family and Ellens Corners have familiarized me with Mesick. I graduated from Central Michigan University as an undergrad and Grand Canyon University as a graduate. This is my first year teaching as I have been substitute teaching and attending college for the last two and a half years. My wife has taught for the last 5 years and has been very supportive in my transition to education. I am teaching 3rd grade this year and looking forward to an awesome year! Go Bulldogs!
