In science Mrs. Walkers 1st grade class completed a fall tree study. Part of the lesson was learning about apples. To celebrate their hard work, they made their own apple sauce. It was a delicious treat to end the lesson!

Spirit Week
October is college application month in Michigan. Many colleges waive their application fees, so it’s a great time for seniors to apply. College application workshops were held in senior English classes this week, and seniors began the financial aid application process. We are so proud of our seniors and excited to see their future plans developing!

In the education world, there are some names that draw attention nationally. Bryan Skavnak of Be the Nice Kid is one of those. If you've been in our cafeterias, you know his quotes are painted on the walls. For him to give Mesick a shout out is a pretty big deal! Thank you to Bryan, and thanks to our own Mesick Bulldogs for making us so proud! https://youtu.be/nL2apSRqrWI

Good Evening Mesick Families, Tomorrow is count day, this is the day where Michigan schools receive a majority of their funding. Please make sure students are at school and in class the entire day! IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT FEELING WELL PLEASE DO NOT SEND THEM TO SCHOOL. THERE ARE ADDITIONAL WAYS WE CAN CAPTURE THE FUNDING.
