Our JRH football team had a resounding victory last night against the Suttons Bay Norsemen to improve their record to 5-0 with just one game left on the schedule. A # of our JRH athletes have been involved in a summer strength and speed training program known as the "Champion Club" for the past 3 summers. The "Champions Club" sessions are open to any JRH athlete who participates in any of the sports offered at our school. A big shout-out to our coaches Cody Simerson and Josh Brown, who orchestrate the workouts. The success of our JRH athletes in football and cross country is strongly connected to the commitment of our coaches and athletes who put the work in during the offseason.

Wednesday's home Cross Country meet was a great success! The Varsity girls team took 4th place, while the Varsity boys team took 1st, winning all three league Jamborees. The Jr. High Co-ed team took 4th place. When the meet was over, 15 elementary students from Mesick and Bear Lake completed a 1 mile course, with the older athletes running beside them for encouragement. Thanks to all who came to watch and volunteered their time and energy to support the team!
