Good Evening, Mesick Community: We're calling off school tomorrow, Tuesday 22 Feb. due to information that is coming our way this evening about impending weather; ice storm warning, power outages likely, hazardous conditions for driving, travel strongly discouraged, etc.
Tonight's Girl's JV/V Game at Marion is on. It will begin with JV at 6pm. Good Luck Girls!
Good Morning, Mesick Community: We have called school off for today, Thursday Feb. 17, due to extremely slippery roads, especially in the rural areas. We hoped to get a little snow overnight and that would help the roads, but it didn't happen. Thank you for your understanding. A reminder that tomorrow, Friday, is a professional development day for teachers and students will not be attending. So nice weekend to everybody.
With slippery roads conditions expected, student-athletes are being given the option to withhold from participating in after school events this evening. If you would like to pick your child up from practice early, there will be no penalty. Also, for student-athletes participating in contests tonight, we ask that safe travel is arranged if they choose to attend. Thank you.

Mesick Schools will be closed today, Monday 7 Feb. We have early reports of freezing drizzle and our transportation coordinator has been out early this morning on the roads in our community. The roads are extremely slippery and unsafe for our buses and students/staff who travel to school in private cars.
First graders have been working hard on counting by tens and ones. They may have thought Mrs. MacEachern lost her mind when she dumped out all the unifix cubes this morning but they had so much fun building and counting by tens and ones. We have 1,730 cubes in our classroom!
