We would like to congratulate Varsity Volleyball Coach Stacy Quiggin on being named Coach of the Year by the Traverse City Record Eagle. Our girls varsity volleyball team went 23-2 and captured conference, district, and regional championships this past year. The season will continue when the girls take on Fowler in the MHSAA Division 4 Quarterfinals on Tuesday, January 5th at 6pm in Manton. Excellent job coach and we look forward to seeing everyone back on the floor!

Congratulations to Jewlia Pruden, 6th grade, for winning the 2nd round of judging at the District 11E-1 level and a $100 for her Peace Poster Design! The judges were very impressed with her artistic skills and how her poster represented diversity. Way to go Jewlia!

With today's announcement we are excited that our girls varsity volleyball team will resume practice on Monday, December 21st and compete in the State Quarterfinals on Tuesday, January 5th. There will be an additional update from the MHSAA on Tuesday, December 22nd and we will provide more details regarding volleyball and Winter sports at that time. In the meantime, please direct any questions you may have to Coach Duby at dubyk@mesick.org. Have a great weekend and Go Bulldogs!

Mrs Campbell’s Kinders
Books For Kids ...to keep for there very own!

📚 Elementary Building 📚
Students were able to choose a few books to bring home for there very own this week.
Thanks to Project Christmas, donations and a reward to buy books Mr Charnes earned.
Kids were so excited picking out & sharing their selections with others.
Ask your child about the books they selected.
Happy Reading! Enjoy 📖

Mesick Elementary students were all fortunate enough to receive free books this week. Today, it was Mrs. Parrish’s class turn. A big thanks to Mrs. Spencer for getting more books in our kids hands!

This morning in Mrs. Porter’s fifth grade class students were able to play math games virtually with their classmates who are doing online learning. Students created and sent out an invite to their classmates at home and via Google Hangouts were able to interact with each other to play the game. It was so nice for all the students to be able to see and speak with one another. For our kids at home, this was about as close to being in the building as you can get. Great job Bulldogs!

High School yearbooks are $25 until December 22! Order at yearbookforever.com or contact Mrs. Elliott-

Today the Mesick 5th grade students had a special visitor. Mr. Kern came in today to teach our kids how to make a festive art project. We are very lucky to have had Mr. Kern visit us and the kids did a great job.
