Floyd M. Jewett Elementary is pleased to host a Mobile Dentist Visit on Thursday, May 8th, 2025. If you would like your child to participate, please complete and return a Mobile Dentist form. If you haven’t received a form, please contact the school office, and we’ll be happy to send one home with your child.

Our last official day will be Wednesday, June 11th, which will be a half day.

Mesick Elementary is doing our annual walk-a-thon fundraiser. The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money for the Bulldog Buck drawings, field trips, extra school supplies, classroom prizes, bulldog store, student incentives and much more. You can go to www.99pledges.com/fund/elementary92 and search for a student to donate to. Students who get donantions can earn some fabulous prizes.

Girls' varsity softball has been invited to play in the Brethren Tournament this Saturday. Boys' varsity baseball is also in this tournament. Both of our teams play at 9:30 AM vs Brethren for the 1st game of the tournament. In addition to our teams & Brethren, Onekama & Marion are also playing.

Spring Mesick School Wellness Center Meeting
Our Mesick School Wellness Center wants your input. We will be having spring meeting May 19th in the high school library. We want input from parents, community members and school staff.
Mrs.MacEachern's 2nd graders celebrated Earth Day by cleaning up around the school grounds 🌎
Celebrating Earth Day in kindergarten today. We studied ways to take care of our planet. We're making compost with a worm bin!! We shared some of our extra veggies and paper towel tubes. We will add some of it to the school community garden later this spring.

A HUGE congratulations to our Mesick Varsity Track team, who took 1st place in our division and 2nd place out of 13 schools at the Breckenridge Invitational yesterday! Way to go Bulldogs!
The 2025 Spring Arts Festival has been changed from April 24th to Wednesday, May 14th. Doors open at 6pm and will feature band performances, artwork, and woodshop projects. The starting auction time is 6pm, with band performances to follow at 7pm. There will be several items up for auction, hope to see you there!!
Reminder- due to an excessive amount of snow days this Friday, April 18th, school will be in session.

Elementary School students practicing our core values of honor, determination, responsibility and self-control with a fun head, shoulders, cup game after our PBIS assembly. It took amazing self-control and responsibility to get all K-5 students lined up to start the game! They showed honor by stepping back when they lost and cheering on their classmates. They showed determination when they stayed focused and ready to grab the cup!
