Pre-Game Parent Recognition (Starting at 6:30 PM)
We will honor the parents of the following groups on the field before kickoff:

Varsity Football Team
Parents, please be near the "rock" located near the West End Zone and ready at 6:20 PM to head onto the field by 6:30 PM for the announcements.
Halftime Parent Recognition
The parents of our senior band members will be recognized on the field during the game's halftime performance.

Wednesday's home Cross Country meet was a great success! The Varsity girls team took 4th place, while the Varsity boys team took 1st, winning all three league Jamborees. The Jr. High Co-ed team took 4th place. When the meet was over, 15 elementary students from Mesick and Bear Lake completed a 1 mile course, with the older athletes running beside them for encouragement.
Thanks to all who came to watch and volunteered their time and energy to support the team!

Last week, the Mesick 8th Grade Science class visited the Inland Seas in Suttons Bay! They collected scientific data from water samples and identified the fish and plankton types. They also used chemical analysis to find out how much oxygen is in the water and also used tools to determine temperature and water clarity.

Mesick Volleyball is hosting a PINK OUT game tomorrow, Thursday, October 2nd! This is a tri with GTA and Baldwin. JV will be in our elementary gym and Varsity in the high school gym, both games start at 5:30! Wear pink to get FREE admission!

This Friday, October 3rd, is Parents' Night with a 6:30pm start time! We're dedicating this evening to honoring the incredible parents of our cheerleaders and JV/Varsity football players. Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication!
We also will be having our check presentation from T-Mobile following our parents' night ceremony before the game! Hope you can be there!

Join us tonight as Mesick Cross-Country hosts the WMD Jamboree race on our home course! The Jr. High races at 4:15 PM, Varsity girls at 4:45, and our Varsity boys to follow at 5:15. Our elementary cross-country club will also race, starting around 6 PM. Good luck to all our runners! Go Bulldogs!

Lots of great results for Cross Country this week.
Middle School kicked things off on Tuesday at the Elk Rapids Invite, where 6 Bulldog runners earned Personal Bests!
Varsity was at Shepherd today for the Bluejay invite. The girls team took 11th place, with Alyssa Spicer earning a medal, and PR's for Alyssa, Jewlia Trowbridge and Paula Cuadra.
The boys team took 6th place out of 21 scoring teams, with Kyle Redman earning the victory and Ty Redman earning a medal in 4th place. Kyle Doty, Harper Musta and Connor Hiday also got new PRs.
The Elementary club has had a great turnout at each practice as well!
Home meet on Wednesday, October 1st. Come out and support these talented, hardworking runners!
