KRN (GR K-3) Hope you’re enjoying your summer reading. Just a reminder to report each book read to complete the program and receive a certificate at the fall celebration. Every Kids Read Now book you get in the mail, includes a Discovery Sheet on the inside of the front cover. These questions help children relate the book to themselves, to other books, and to the world! We highly recommend discussing these questions with your child. Can’t wait to hear about all the cool things you’re reading about this summer!

First Graders enjoying their new books from the Kids Read Now Summer Reading Program.

Mesick JR/SR High is starting to schedule appointments for new student enrollments for the 2021-2022 school year. Appointments will be on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 1-5 PM and on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 8 AM - 3 PM. Please call the JR/SR High School office to schedule an appointment; 231-885-1200 Extension 3400 (Office hours are currently Monday's and Thursday's from 6:45 AM until 2:45 PM). July’s Digital Library We have created a summer “Read Aloud”calendar for your child to enjoy this summer. -Daily, the books will be posted here with a link to access or can be accessed through the attached calendar. -Your child brought home a paper copy to be easy accessible & instructions on how to access the stories as well. (Gr K-2) -They can also access these books on their classroom platform. (GR K-2) Attached is how to scan a QR code to listen to each book & simple Reading Activities you can do with your child this summer. Enjoy this time with your child(ren). I hope they like listening to this months book selections.
