
3rd graders have been learning about area and perimeter in math. Today they had fun making their names on grid paper and figuring out the area in square units.





Please remember that we need to have 75% of our student body in attendance to count the school day. We were really close of not reaching 75% attendance last year the day before spring break. Please make sure students are in attendance so we do not have to make up another day!

The Robotics Team formed an alliance with Marion & North Muskegon and won their 1st match 29 - 21. The Bulldogs scored 6 points!


1st graders are working on their keyboarding skills. We love the free online program called BBC typing, it is interactive and very kid friendly.


The High School robotics team is competing in their rookie year district competition in Muskegon today!




Reminder all money and orders for the Mesick Elementary PTO chocolate bunny fundraiser are due Monday, March 18th.

Reading favorite stories with family is a great way to celebrate Reading Month!

First graders are celebrating Reading Month with mystery readers who bring their favorite books!


Thanks to Mrs. Arbury and her passion for Recycling, we will begin recycling our milk cartons every lunch period beginning with first graders on a trial basis. We hope this is just a beginning for Mesick Schools!


The National Honor Society will be sponsoring a blood drive through Michigan Blood. The blood drive will be held this Friday, March 15, 2019 in the Mesick JR/SR High School Media Center, from 10 AM-3 PM. Appointments are preferred, but walk ins are welcome. Busy day for Bulldogs. Boys 4th and 5th grade basketball team had a tournament in the high school gym and the girls volleyball team had a tournament in the elementary gym. Everyone played well. Go Bulldogs!
