Hello Bulldog Families,
Our Granola for Grandparents event this week was a success. Thanks to the 4th, 5th and 6th grade girls basketball team for helping set up for the event, to all the staff and volunteers who helped during the event, and to the 5th grade students who helped with cleanup. In addition, thanks to all who attended, this was a great morning for our kids and grandparents.
Mark your calendar for our annual Veterans Day celebration on Friday, November 9. The event will start at 9:00 am in the JH/HS gymnasium. The public is welcome. Please come and help us honor our veterans.
Also, mark your calendars for our Daddy/Daughter dance on Friday, November 9. This fun night will run from 6:00-8:00 pm. Dads and daughters, come out for a night of dancing and fun activities. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
A few reminders:
The mobile dentist will be at Mesick Elementary on Monday, October 29.
Picture retakes are on Tuesday, October 30. If you would like your child to get their picture retaken, please send your child to school with their previous picture packet. Extra forms are also available in the office.
The annual Mesick Elementary Halloween parade will take place on Halloween day, Wednesday, October 31. The parade will begin at 1:00 pm. Thanks in advance to all the local businesses for participating and making this a great day for our kids.
Students In Need of Eyecare “SINE” trip is on Thursday, November 1. The bus will leave campus at 9:15 am and return by 3:00 pm.
No school on Friday, November 2 for Teacher Professional Development.
