White Bulldog

11.16.20

Dear Mesick Families,

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services ordered new COVID restrictions that impact Mesick High School. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 Mesick High School students in grades 9th - 12th  will be learning remotely returning to face-to-face instruction on Wednesday, December 9th. All athletics and co-curricular activities are suspended until December 9th. Food will be distributed to all 9-12th grade students on Mondays from 9:00-9:30 at the Jr/Sr High School by the rear kitchen/service door. We will continue to work with our local health department to evaluate COVID numbers and will notify our parents when staff or students have tested positive.

Based on the guidance of our Health Department and lack of COVID exposure or spread at the lower levels, we will continue to welcome our K-8th grade students to the buildings to learn face to face. All Mesick students will continue to wear masks and all safety protocols continue to be in place. I want to thank you for all of your continued support and ask that you respectfully continue partnering with us in finding the balance in providing a safe learning environment and educating all of our students during this health crisis.

If you have any questions as we work through challenges during these extraordinary times, please feel free to contact me via email at akoms@mesick.org or by phone (231)885-1200

Blessed to be a Bulldog,
