White Bulldog

October 19, 2020

Dear Mesick Consolidated School Community,

As you are aware, Mesick Junior/Senior High School had its first positive Coronovirus Test today.  We were able to work with the health department and figure out our close contacts.  We have contacted students’ parents and staff that were considered close contacts and are under quarantine to monitor for symptoms.

As stated earlier, the positive case has not been in the building since the middle of last week.  The buildings are sanitized between each class change.  In the evening’s rooms and open spaces are disinfected with Clorox fogging machines. This process helps eliminate germs and viruses, including the Coronavirus.

I want to remind you to make sure that your child brings home their iPad and Chromebook every night.  This will allow the students to complete homework at home in case we need to close the school.   Thankfully all of our students have devices, which allows us to do this.

Please remember if your child is not feeling well please do not send them to school.

We will continue to monitor this situation and share information with you.  We will also continue to seek guidance from our local health department.  I appreciate your continued support.

Blessed to Be a Bulldog,

Scott Akom
