 School Board Position Opening
Mesick Consolidated Schools has an opening for a school board member for the balance of the 2009 calendar year. The vacancy was created by a member resignation will need to be filled at the July 13, 2009 Board of Education meeting. This position would be held until the next annual election in November, where a candidate will be placed on the ballot to complete the balance of the vacated board term.
Letters of interest will be accepted through July 3, 2009, and should be address to Mr. John McGowan, Mesick Consolidated Schools, P.O. Box 275, Mesick, MI 49668.
 A Message from the Superintendent 
One of the jobs of a school superintendent is to look into and, as much as possible, plan for the future as well as to encourage changes that will positively affect education for all students. With that in mind, all the local Superintendents in our area drafted the attached document and sent it to our State Representatives, Joel Sheltrown and Darwin Booher, and State Senator, Michelle McManus, for them to consider:
